I had contacted Pearl Jam's
people regarding getting permission to take pictures at the show...the first
guy I talked to was really nice but he said I would have to talk to this other
person. This other 'person' was superbitch of the century. I told
her very nicely who I was and that I would like to take pictures at the concert
and she read me the riot act. In no uncertain terms did Pearl Jam
allow photographs to be taken, not even a press photo was available and that
they didn't like to be written about. However, when my friend and I arrived,
sections had been roped off for people with passes and several 'professional'
people were taking photographs from all locations within the Moore including
onstage. So I was a bit miffed (can you tell?) and the above 'poem' resulted
as was as a sort of scorching review.....at least I didn't have to pay for the
tickets......also, Pearl Jam had taken up the issue of Ticketmaster's surcharge
even to speak in front of a Senate hearing (or something in DC) and then they
had their own surcharge per ticket when they decided to sell their concert tickets
themselves (for which they hadn't a clue and massive problems ensued). Back
